May 15, 2026 was our 50th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, Lucy wasn’t here to celebrate it. She passed away about a month earlier from cancer. Lucy’s passing leaves a major void in my life. I’m continually reminded of that during every passing day as I reflect on the many good times we had together.
